What is Watcher Entertainment?

Watcher Entertainment is a production company started by Steven Lim, Ryan Bergara, and Shane Madej. With the group's previous experience at hosting BuzzFeed Unsolved and Worth It, they launched Watcher in January 2020. Since then, Watcher has entertained millions with unscripted content like Ghost Files, Puppet History, and Top 5 Beatdown.

Hosted by Ryan, Ghost Files and Mystery Files have been the natural continuation of his previous show, BuzzFeed Unsolved, drawing in fans to explore the spooky and debunk hoaxes. With a commitment to real evidence and real laughs, Ghost Files won a People's Voice Webby Award just one year after its debut.

Hosted by Shane, Puppet History and Survival Mode explore a competitive side. While Shane and Ryan are often pitted against each other in Puppet History, where guests compete to win prizes for historical knowledge, they work together in Survival Mode to complete supernatural tasks.

While Steven usually works behind the scenes, he has hosted Dish Granted and Eat Like Me, and appears regularly as a bartender on Too Many Spirits.

In April 2024, Watcher announced they would be creating an independent streaming service, WatcherTV. They clarified that though they would still post all new content to their YouTube channel, it would be available early through paid subscription to WatcherTV. Bonus shows will also be available on WatcherTV.
